These big OS upgrades are always bittersweet moments. You know that for all of the fanfare surrounding the release of a shiny new system, someone, somewhere is getting the shaft. In the case of today's release of Leopard, the big losers are Apple's OS 9 and its fans.
The latest iteration of Apple's OS X will not support Classic--that goes for MacIntel and Power PC Machines. Engadget has some appropriately macabre footage from Steve Jobs' mock funeral for the OS at 2002's WWDC.
