Find Friends for your Furry Family at Fuzzster

Sure, you spend hours at a time at MySpace or Facebook, updating your profile, making comments on other people's posts, and friending people. But what about your faithful animal companions? Where can Rover and Mittens go online to socialize? Enter Fuzzster. Yes, Fuzzster is a social network for pets. They can have their own profiles with interests and photographs, and meet and make friends with other pets who are also listed on the site. And don't worry--there's a section for "non-furry friends," so you can create and add your own profile too.








There are all kinds of adorable animals at Fuzzster, including dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, and hamsters. If you have a few photos of your pet and a desire to show them off to the world, you can create a profile for your pet and hook him or her up with other animals. You can add some information about your pet: tricks they can do, hobbies and likes/dislikes, favorite toys, snacks, and more. You can even create a blog just for your pet, and your pet's friends at Fuzzster (both furry and non-furry) can add testimonials to tell the world how awesome they are.



Of course, you have to create your own profile at Fuzzster first, and you'll be listed as your pet's parent on their profile. On your profile, you can add all of your pets as your "fuzzsters," and each of your pets' individual profiles are linked from your profile page. If you have Fuzzster friends (other people's pets), they show up on your profile as well. Finally, at the bottom of the page are your non-furry friends; other pet owners who have their pets listed at Fuzzster.



Unfortunately I don't have a pet of my own, so I my spend time at Fuzzster going through the profiles of all the adorable animals. If you're in it just for the cuteness, click on "random fuzzster" on the left side of the screen to see a random pet's profile; click on any of the recent links to see new profiles, new photos, new blog entries; and invite your friends with pets to add their furry family to the site as well. The Fuzzster community is pretty large, so whether you're a cat, dog, bird, or even ferret lover, you'll find friends.
