Zoho Updates Reader for Enterprise Users

Zoho launched several updates to its word processing app Reader today, in hopes of further hacking away at some of Microsoft's dominance in the space. The updates to the app are aimed squarely at enterprise users, the holy grail for the new and highly competitive crop of Web-based word processing apps.

Among the new features is pagination, which lets users view docs as a series of pages using the Page View mode. In terms of printing multi-page docs, the company recommends the use of Print Using PDF, which better addresses the Web-based limitations of the older Print option.

Zoho has also added the option of headers and footers for docs, improved the app's spell-check so it now supports 43 languages, and introduced e-mail alerts letting users know when someone has commented on one of their public documents.

For more information on the aforementioned changes and additional updates not mentioned above, check out the Zoho blog.
